1. Developer and contact
Later is developed by XOTOX STUDIO, an independent developer. Privacy and data questions may be sent to xotoxoficial@gmail.com.
2. No account or XOTOX STUDIO backend
Later does not require a user account and does not use a XOTOX STUDIO backend to store personal reminder content. The application is designed to keep its operational content primarily on the user's device.
3. Information stored on the device
Reminders, text, URLs, dates, recurrence, lists, checklists, optional names, appearance, language, shared images, unlocks, and other local application state are stored primarily on the device. XOTOX STUDIO does not operate a server that receives or stores this personal app content.
Users control local app content through the device and application. Clearing app data or uninstalling the application may remove locally stored information.
4. Advertising and consent
The Free version of Later uses Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) to display advertising and Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) to present consent choices where applicable.
Depending on device settings, region, consent, and Google's configuration, AdMob may process:
- approximate location derived from the IP address;
- interactions with the application and advertisements;
- diagnostic and performance information;
- Advertising ID;
- App Set ID; and
- other applicable identifiers used by Google services.
This processing is performed by Google under its own policies. UMP is used to obtain and communicate applicable consent choices to Google advertising services.
5. Google Play Billing and Pro
Later uses Google Play Billing for the product later_pro. The Free version includes advertisements; Pro removes advertisements.
Purchases are processed by Google Play. Later and XOTOX STUDIO do not receive card numbers, bank account details, or other complete payment credentials. Google may provide purchase status and identifiers required to confirm the entitlement.
6. Sharing and third parties
XOTOX STUDIO does not sell personal reminder content. Third-party processing is limited to services used by the app, including Google Mobile Ads, Google UMP, and Google Play Billing, subject to Google's own terms and privacy policies.

7. Retention and deletion
Local application content remains on the device until the user changes or deletes it, clears the app's data, or uninstalls the application, subject to Android device behaviour. Information processed by Google is retained according to Google's policies and the user's applicable settings.
8. Security
Later minimises remote data handling by keeping app content primarily on the device. No storage method can be guaranteed to be completely secure; users should maintain appropriate device security and backups where needed.
9. Changes
This policy will be updated if Later's features, SDKs, data handling, or legal requirements change. The latest revision date appears at the top of this page.
