1. Developer and contact
Soundscape is developed by XOTOX STUDIO, an independent developer. Privacy and data questions may be sent to xotoxoficial@gmail.com.
2. No account or XOTOX STUDIO backend
Soundscape does not require a user account and does not use a XOTOX STUDIO backend. The app's personal operational state is stored locally on the user's device.
3. Information stored locally
Favourites, mixes, recent history, preferences, unlocks, and appearance settings are stored locally. XOTOX STUDIO does not operate a server that receives or stores this personal Soundscape content.
Clearing app data or uninstalling Soundscape may remove locally stored information.
4. Advertising, consent, and third-party processing
Soundscape uses Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) for advertising and Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) for consent choices where applicable.
Depending on device settings, region, consent, and Google's configuration, AdMob may process:
- approximate location derived from the IP address;
- interactions with the application and advertisements;
- performance and diagnostic information;
- Advertising ID;
- App Set ID; and
- other applicable identifiers.
These services may process information for advertising, analytics, and fraud prevention. Google performs that processing under its own policies. UMP is used to obtain and communicate applicable consent choices.
5. Google Play Billing and Pro
Soundscape uses Google Play Billing for the lifetime product soundscape_pro. Google Play processes the purchase.
Soundscape and XOTOX STUDIO do not receive card numbers or banking information. Google may provide purchase status and identifiers required to confirm the entitlement.
6. Services not currently used
Soundscape does not currently use Firebase Analytics or Firebase Crashlytics.
7. Permissions not requested
Soundscape does not request GPS location, contacts, camera, microphone, SMS, phone calls, or general storage access. Approximate location derived from an IP address may still be processed by Google advertising services as described above.
8. Sharing and third parties
XOTOX STUDIO does not sell personal Soundscape content. Third-party processing is limited to services used by the app, including Google Mobile Ads, Google UMP, and Google Play Billing, subject to Google's own terms and privacy policies.

9. Retention and deletion
Local app information remains on the device until the user changes or deletes it, clears app data, or uninstalls Soundscape, subject to Android device behaviour. Information processed by Google is retained according to Google's policies and the user's applicable settings.
10. Changes
This policy will be updated if Soundscape's features, SDKs, data handling, or legal requirements change. The revision date appears at the top of this page.
